Life with two little girls!

Calla is enjoying being a big sister more and more each day. She has also learned a new word, family, and talks about my family all the time.

Mommy and her girls.

"Sissy" Hannah

Hannah is a pretty good sleeper, we just have to work on the timing of that sleep.

Mommy and Hannah.

Calla loves adventure and discovered riding on Daddy's back this weekend. Daddy is in trouble now.

We were out and about a lot this weekend with a trip to the farmers market where Calla got ome flowers she shared with Mommy and Daddy.

It was warm and sunny in Corvallis this weekend so Calla got to play with the hose. You can see she had lots and lots of fun!

I have been trying to make sure I spend some quality time with Calla each day. One of the things we do together is "cook". I love to bake so I am getting Calla involved early. Here we made cookies, you can see she enjoyed the entire process!

Are they ready yet???

YUMMY!!!

Some beaautiful roses from our backyard. They are making our living room smell like summer, even if the weather still feels like spring.

Tomorrow will be Hannah's 2 week birthday and we are all settling into our new family! We had a great visit with Nana Lynda. She helped us transition by holding Hannah, playing with Calla, cooking, and all things Grandmas do! Thank you! Calla loves sissy Hannah and is getting use to our new family better every day. She throws diapers away, gets wipes for us, puts Hannah's milk in the fridge for mommy, and gives her sissy kisses. Hannah is feeding really well now and seems to be growing in front of our eyes. We are pretty sure she is back to her birth weight and beyond.
I had a great Father's Day just hanging out with my two girls and my beautiful wife. I am one lucky guy!

Calla loves to say Good Morning to baby Hannah and help change her diaper.

We finally had some nice weather this weekend so Calla got to play with her sand and some water. LOTS of fun!

Baby Sister Hannah Arrives

Hannah Culepper Shaff arrived Monday at 7pm on the dot. She was 5lbs 11 oz and 19 1/2 inches long. Lots of dark hair and beautiful!!! It was a crazy day, I was at work until noon, left because I was having some contractions, and she was born 7 hours later. We are all adjusting at home and a little tired. Calla likes her baby sister, but would like some more Mommy time. We will all slowly adjust. Here are a few pictures for everyone to enjoy. We will be changing the name of the blog shortly, since it's not all about Calla anymore.

Leaving the hospital.
