Bandon, Oregon

We took a family trip to Bandon, Oregon a few weeks ago in conjunction with some meeting Courtney had to attend. It was also to help us celebrate Courtney's birthday!! So a few of the mornings Courtney had to work while Hannah, Calla, and I played. We had some amazing weather, went on some amazing hikes, and stayed at an amazing house the was full to toys for Calla to play with. It even had a toddler bed for Calla to sleep in. Calla even managed to hike about 2 miles straight when daddy forgot to pack the Backpack she usually rides in off and on during our hikes!

Calla hiking and pickin' flowers.

One of the amazing views of the southern Oregon coast!

One of the benches that kept Calla hiking during our two mile hike. She likes to have goals to hike too. During this hike we had to keep hiking to find the next bench!

A tea set for Calla to play with at our rental house!

Hannah did not quit like her mini-chair! Calla did though!

Clear blue skies hiking in November on the Oregon coast.

On this hike we kept hiking to the next bridge so Calla could look for the fishes in the stream.

Halloween

Well it is not yet Thanksgiving and we finally are posting some pictures from Halloween, I guess that is life with two kids. We had a wonderful evening trick-or-treating in our neighborhood. We went with our neighbors who have a little girl a few months older than Calla and a little boy a few months younger than Hannah. The girls were a little slow to get started and then they realized what fun it was. Here are a few pictures from our evening.

Hannah even got in the Halloween spirit dressing up as an AZ cheerleader!

Calla and Maddie showing off their princess dresses.
Calla read to try for some candy.
Trick-or-treating was successful! Luckily at this age they still don't realize what candy is and it was easy to give her just a couple of suckers from her basket and take the rest away. I know next year it will be a different story.
