Well we have had a busy few weeks. Hannah was baptized a few weeks ago and Uncle Tom and Aunt Charlotte where thr godparents and Uncle John and Cousin Jake came along for the ride. We had an amazing weekend with everyone at our house, it was a little tight, but everyine survived I believe. Here are some photos from that weekend.

Sisters

Everyday brings new adventures in our home. Neither Scott or I grew up with sisters, siblings yes, sisters, no. We are amazed at the relationship Calla and Hannah are already developing. Calla gives Hannah hugs when she cries and tell her it will be OK. Hannah can't get enough of her big sister and is usually laughing hard at Calla.

We are also entering the world of "My toy, Hannah can't play with it." So you can see it is not all sisterly love. Here are a few pictures of the girls entertaining each other.

Playing in the Snow

We celebrated the New Year by visiting Mary's Peak just outside Corvallis with our friends and spending a few hours playing in the snow. We all had a blast, but Calla and Madison had the most fun!

Calla and Madison sledding. Calla finally figured out that she should hold onto the sled and not Madison's face!

WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Mom even took a turn with the girls, but they preferred to ride alone.

Faster, faster!

Hannah even got in with the fun, for a few minutes!

Merry Christmas!!!

Well we just finished our first Christmas Eve as a family alone in OR. Calla had a blast opening presents and we have had a wonderful day as a family. We went on a walk this morning, went to church, had flank steak and roasted veggies for dinner (after Hannah went to bed) and opened presents. Here are a few wonderful pictures from our day.

Thank you sooo much Great Aunt Sharon for the snow shoes!

Thank you Aunt Charlotte for the bakers hat, I can't wait to help mom make a apple pie in the morning.

Snow in Sunriver!

Family photo in the snow! We are so lucky to have lots and lots snow to play in for our visit to Sunriver with friends Nick, Brandi, Madison, and Jackson.
Calla really enjoyed sleding, throwing snow balls, and eating the snow.

The dads made a small hill for the girls to slide down. It was a BIG hit!

Calla trying to copy dad and run and jump into the snow.
Even the babies got to play in the snow.

Hannah turns 6 months!

It is hard to believe that my little girls is 6 months old. She has earned the name "Happy" Hannah because she loves to smile and laugh. Her big sister can really get her laughing. Hannah started at Day Care on December 1, and we are all adjusting, Mom is very tired having to work full-time for the first time in 6months and Hannah is having a hard time napping at day care, but we will all adjust. Hannah also got her first tooth today! I couple of nights ago she had some really bad tooth pain and then today when I was letting her chew on my finger I was surprised to actually feel the tooth, she is growing up fast. Some of the other things she is up to include:
- She is now rolling over both ways,
- She eats two meals a day of food, which could be squash, sweet potatoes, avocado, carrots, or applesauce and oatmeal cereal,
- She loves her toys, especially her caterpillar,
- She is sleeping better most nights, but still has nights when she wakes up 2-3 times.
Here are a few recent pictures.

The Tree is Up

Last weekend, well I should say over several days last week, we got our Christmas Tree put up. Calla helped us decorate (we only broke two ornaments in the process) and it looks beautiful. Now Calla tells me everyday that Santa is going to come to her house. She does not really know what that means, but kids learn very quicklu from other kids. Scott also got lights put up outside.
